County commissioners
County commissioners for LeFlore County met in a Regular Business Meeting Monday in Poteau with Chairman Jamie Oliver presiding. Also present were Vice-Chair Vallard Campbell, Member Josh Blaylock and County Clerk First Deputy Jedd Kirby. Absent: County Clerk Kelli Ford.
The following action was taken by the board:
- Chairman Jamie Oliver called meeting to order.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve the minutes of regular meeting held November 18, 2024. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve purchase orders as presented. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve monthly fee report as presented by the LeFlore County Election Board for the month of October, 2024. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve transfers of appropriations in the amount of $4,000 from Emergency Management equipment account to Emergency Management maintenance and operations account. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Blanket Purchase Orders: None presented.
- New Business: No discussion.
- Contract Labor/Service Agreements, Annual Contracts: None presented.
- Burn Ban. Not needed at this time. No discussion.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve contract agreement between the LeFlore County Election Board and DataMax regarding the lease and service/ maintenance of new copier equipment. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve Pitney Bowes Lease Agreement Fiscal Year 2025 with the LeFlore County Health Department. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Vallard Campbell and seconded by Jamie Oliver to approve resolution for disposing of equipment regarding donated County inventory item D1-348.032 cargo trailer with original purchase price of $1,757.00. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Vallard Campbell and seconded by Josh Blaylock to approve resolution and bid notice advertising to accept sealed bids regarding the purchase of a 2019 or newer dump truck to benefit LeFlore County Commissioner Highway Department District 1. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
- Motion was made by Jamie Oliver and seconded by Vallard Campbell to approve resolution allowing Treasurer to reinvest surplus of Health Department funds for the month of November, 2024. Motion was approved, all voting yes.
