A LeFlore County man was arrested for the murder of his reported roommate Tuesday.
LeFlore County Sheriff Rodney Derryberry said deputies were sent to a home on Calhoun Road, just outside of Shady Point.
Deputies reportedly found Chadwick Cooper dead inside a shed near the house. He had been shot several times.
Investigators questioned Landen Patillo, who they say lived with Cooper and another woman. The two reportedly admitted shooting Cooper. Patillo was arrested and is facing a first-degree murder charge. The woman was arrested on unrelated felony arrest warrants, but is not believed to have been involved in the shooting.
