Memorial service for Dr. Charles David Cook, 77, of Wister is 2 p.m. Friday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Reverend Jim Cook officiating.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born April 10, 1947 in Springfield, Missouri to Hazel (Seney) Cook and Walter Cook and passed away Sept. 3, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Cook; son Richard Cook and wife Tiya; stepsons Ronnie Bell and wife Becky, Kevin Bell and wife Robin, and Terry Bell and wife Julie; stepdaughter Danette Been and husband Jeff; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings Sonny, Gwen, Joeann and Barbara.
