POCOLA – Michael Dale Sockey, 71, of Pocola, passed away Thursday and was born in Poteau July 22, 1950 to Richard and Ernestine (Ferguson) Sockey.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Pocola. A private family service will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
Survivors include two daughters Chrystl Lee Miller (Sam) and Nisha Sockey; a son, Anthony Dale Steiber; four grandchildren; two sisters Judy Hogan (David) of Fort Smith and Beverly of Pocola; and three brothers Richard of Poteau, Larry (Katie) of Pocola and Bobby of Jenny Lind.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
