Did you know is a feature we try to run daily focusing on the people and places from LeFlore County.
Page was named for William C. Page, a prominent Choctaw. A post office was established April 6, 1896 with Charles Stewart as the original postmaster. The original Page post office was 16.8 miles south of Heavener, just to the north of the present Haw Creek Road crossing.
