District assignments were handed out Friday for Class 4A and Class 3A schools for the upcoming basketball playoffs.
Districts will be held Feb. 21 and Feb. 22.
In Class 4A, Poteau is in Area III, District 4 with the Pirates traveling to Broken Bow on Feb. 21.
Poteau and Broken Bow will compete in a regional sub-site against Wagoner or Sallisaw. The regional main site is Muldrow with the area tournament set for the Mvskoke Dome in Muskogee.
LeFlore County’s two Class 3A schools, Heavener and Spiro are in Area III and play in District 4 Feb. 22 at Spiro.
Both schools advance to the regional sub-site at Roland to play the Roland and Antlers winners and losers. The regional main site is at Checotah with the area site set for Seminole.
