1945—Mrs. Early Terry’s four sons have served in the U.S. Army. Three of the boys Glen, Bill and Alex are presently serving. Jack Terry was killed in action during June 1944…Rainbow Bar in Rainbow Recreation Center has been sold…Ollar Brothers Grocery has been sold to Elba Ollar…See E.J. Freeman and Ray Hall at State National Bank for all kinds of insurance…Cary Grant, John Garfield star in “Destination Tokyo” showing in the Liberty Theater this week.

1935—C.S. Gear of Heavener and his son were bitten by the family dog that tests show is rabid.
