Funeral service for Carl Will Werschky set

Funeral service for Carl Will Werschky, 93, of Cameron is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola with Reverend Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.

He was born Sept. 29, 1929 in Bonanza, Arkansas to Martha (Kusel) Werschky and Herman Werschky and passed away March 13, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  

Survivors include his wife, Sue Werschky; children Randy Werschky, Carl Werschky and wife Diane, Twalla Castilow, Carlton Werschky, Kris Hope, Amy Finchum and husband Ray; daughter-in-law, Debbie Werschky; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Demessia “Penny” Werschky; son, Brad Werschky; daughter-in-law, Carma Werschky; brothers, George Werschky and Wayne Werschky; and sisters MaryAnn Zuber and Marie Bartlett.

Pallbearers are Rick Werschky, Aaron Werschky, Kelly Jones, Ray Finchum, Brendan Hope and Tim Werschky. Honorary pallbearers are Corey Holt, Garrett Finchum, Dale Johnson, Joe Davison, Dobber Gamble, Mike Moore, Roy King and Glenn Click.

Visitation is Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
