Funeral service for Doil Johnson, 57, of Poteau is 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Baptist Church in Hackett, Arkansas with Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
He was born Oct. 30, 1965 in Muskogee to Faye (Carry) Johnson and Doil Johnson and passed away Dec. 27, 2022 in Poteau.
Survivors include wife, Donna Johnson; daughters Brandie Hodge and husband Joe, Brandie Johnson, and Brittany Goodnight and husband Patrick; son Jamie Chappell and Kristin Vaughn; sister Shannon Hale and husband Johnny; four brothers Danny Johnson and wife Amy, Mark Johnson, Alan Johnson and wife Jamie, and Chris Johnson and wife Casey; grandchildren Kalli Hodge, Tyler Chappell, Paige Robison and husband Nick, Kody Hodge, Kasey Hodge, Blayde Chappell and wife Skylar, Maddilyn Chappell, Kenlee Hodge, Ayden Nichols, Jacee Hamilton, and Evelyn Goodnight; and great grandchildren Pea Pie Hodge, Timber Chappell, and Emmet Robison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Newt Hodge.
Pallbearers are Nick Robison, Jamie Chappell, Joe Hodge, Kody Hodge, Kasey Hodge, Blayde Chappell and Ayden Nichols.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
