Graveside service for Cecil Art Lloyd planned

Graveside service for Cecil Art Lloyd, 64, of Heavener, is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Summerfield Cemetery with Tracy Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Bio

He was born Nov. 26, 1958 in Ukiah, California to Paul F. Lloyd and Nellie L. (Earls) Hunt and passed away March 10, 2023 in Heavener.

He was a longtime resident of the area and a truck driver. Cecil was a veteran, where he served in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.  Cecil will be missed by all whom loved and knew him.

Survivors

Surviving family members are one daughter, Cecilia M. Lloyd, of Heavener; one step-daughter, Megan Janway, of Heavener; three sons Christopher A. Lloyd of Summerfield, Casey A. Lloyd of Summerfield and Cody A. Lloyd of Wister; one sister, Charolett (Lloyd) Wills, of Lowry City, Missouri; three brothers Rickey L. Lloyd of Summerfield, Faron K. Lloyd of Summerfield and Douglas B. Lloyd of South Dakota; eight grandchildren Chase, Leah, Kyra, Kendall, Cory, Cegan, Tyler and Weston; three step-grandchildren Justin, Marcus and Raven; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Pearl and Hamp Earls; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Viewing

Viewing is from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
