Graveside service set for Edward Navarro

Graveside service set for Edward Navarro of Poteau is 10 a.m. Saturday at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Dates

He was born Dec. 23, 1966 in Modesto, California to Jean (Kurtain) Navarro and Rafael Navarro and passed away Jan. 10, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. 

Survivors

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Hanshew, of Modesto, California; two sons Dakota Navarro and wife Katie of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Charles Navarro and wife Nicole of Spiro; sister, Eleana Navarro, of Ceres, California; two brothers Rick Navarro of Modesto, California, and David Navarro, also of Modesto; and grandchildren Jackson, Ayon, Don and Cheyenne.

Preceded by

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Terri Navarro; and siblings Donnie Earn, Johnnie Earn, Chuck Earn and Norma Earn.

Pallbearers

Pallbearers are David Kiernan, Dakota Navarro, Eddie Navarro, Donald Earn and Chase Earn.

Visitation

Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
