Hall about it 12-31-2022 column, my last column for the year of 2022.

Check out our newsletter

We are publishing a free edition of our Ledger/LCJ newsletter today so I hope you enjoy it. Our newsletter, to me, is our best product. If you enjoy it, subscribe for $5 per month or $50 per year and if you subscribe for a year today, I will throw in our weekly e-edition, also for a year.

Changes

If somebody had told me a year ago about how things would be different as we head into 2023, I would have questioned their sanity. Now, I probably need mine checked out.

If you expect to see one Craig A. Hall at your New Year’s Eve party tonight, sorry, not happening. I haven’t seen the start of a new year for some time and doubt this will be any different.

Plans and traditions

Trish the Wife actually suggested doing something today, but hopefully, she forgets. I plan on watching some football and eating snack items. I will have to cook some little smokey’s, but other than that, no Hall tradition that must be followed. Leave some of your traditions and plans down in the comment section below.

We will not publish tomorrow because of the holiday, but will be back Monday.

I wish there were some grand plans to announce, but that’s not happening.

I do hope all of you have a safe and enjoyable New Year’s Eve and if you dare to venture out with all the drunks, please be careful.

Also, I hope 2023 is the best ever for you and your family. I’m actually a little optimistic about the upcoming year and that hasn’t happened in a while.

Hopefully, inflation comes down as the price of all the products has gone up. I always notice when a company raises the price for a certain product because their prices increase. But when their price goes down, what we pay doesn’t. Something isn’t right with that.

Thanks

I thank everybody who supported me through everything this past year and apologize to everybody I disappointed.

I don’t really do New Year resolutions, but if I did, it would be to be a better person and have more patience. I doubt I will figure out the cure for cancer, but hopefully I can make somebody’s life a little better, even if it is just reporting on what is happening in Heavener and LeFlore County.

If you have any ideas, suggestions or ways to legally become a multi-millionaire overnight, please let me know.

Back again next year

Adios chums.
