Heavener defeats Gans, 4-2

Heavener defeats Gans, 4-2, in the Lady Wolves’ opening game at the LeFlore fast pitch softball tournament Thursday.

Britlee Reed pitched a two-hitter and Heavener managed enough runs to get the win.

Reed pitched all four innings, allowing two hits and two runs, both earned, while striking out 10 and walking three.

Kaitlin Hurst doubled and was 1-2 with two RBI and Kristy Shadwick also doubled while going 1-1 with two runs and a RBI.
