Lady Wolves hold off Warner

Heavener’s girls improved to 4-0 in slow pitch softball with an 18-17 win over Warner, holding off a late rally by the Lady Eagles to get the win.

Heavener led 18-13 before Warner made things interesting. Heavener is back in action Tuesday at Panama.

Ava Cartwright hit for the cycle to lead the Lady Wolves’ offensive attack. She went 5-5 with seven RBI and four runs, Cayleigh McGee tripled and was 4-5 with five runs and a RBI, Gracie Morrison had a 3-5 outing with two RBI, Paisley Stacy finished 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Britlee Reed doubled while going 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Brooklyn May had a 2-54 game with a RBI and Anleigh Hackney was 2-4 with two runs.
