Obituary for Adele Rundles

Funeral Service for Adele Marie Rundles, 75, of Poteau is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Manor Chapel in Poteau with Brother Dan Lynch officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Grace Funeral Service.

Adele was born April 7, 1948 in Great Bend, Kansas to Esther Rosena (Rankin) Pechanec and William John Pechanec and passed away Feb. 16, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Adele was married to Donald Ray Rundles Feb. 8, 1969 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Family members surviving include her loving husband, Don; three sons John (Greta) Rundles of Northport, Alabama, James (Janie) Rundles of Hooker and Mark (Tammi) Rundles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; her sister, Carolyn Pols, of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren Parker (Gabbie) Rundles of Hooker, Camden Rundles of Hooker, Clark Rundles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Paitlyn Rundles of Hooker and Casey Marie Rundles of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Kara Ashton Rundles.

Pallbearers are John Rundles, James Rundles, Mark Rundles, Parker Rundles, Camden Rundles, Clark Rundles and nephew J. Reese Rundles.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
