Obituary for Anna Mae Byrd

Anna Mae Byrd, 88, of Spiro passed away Tuesday in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was born Nov. 16, 1936 to Afton and Bertha Lafferty.

Anna was formerly a longtime resident of Pocola and was a laborer and retired from Southwestern Die Casting Company. In her younger years, she enjoyed going fishing and camping, and spending time with her family at the lake.

Surviving family members are her daughter, Phyllis (James) Boblett of Panama; granddaughter, Lisa (Richard) Townsend of Coweta; grandsons Jerry (Lori) Boblett, of Shady Point and Dennis (fiancé – Melissa) Boblett of Irvine, California; nine great grandchildren Christopher, Bethany, Kayleigh, Kennedy, Jarred, Courtney, Mackenzie, Augustus and Lydia; 10 great-great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Madyson, Kylie, Logan, Lorelei, Carter, Archer, Cooper, Julia and Cayde; her sister, Evelyn; her brothers Burl, Kenny, and Jimmy; and, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Neil Byrd; her parents; one sister; and, three brothers.

Anna requested no services and to be cremated and buried at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron. Cremation services under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
