Antonio Villanueva Huerta of Heavener was born Oct. 7, 1947 in Gucinajuato, Mexico to Camilo Villanueva and Perfecta Huerta and passed away Sept. 9, 2024 in Heavener at the age of 76.
Rosary service is 6 p.m. Thursday at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heavener with Father Leonardo Medino officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Antonio was a laborer at the Rock Quarry. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Antonio was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Eleuteria Luna, of the home; two daughters Ma. Guadalupe Hernandez of Longview, Texas and Edith Quiroz of Poteau; three sons Juan A. Villanueva of Heavener, Fernando Villanueva of Heavener and Jorge Villanueva of San Luis, Mexico; five sisters Rosario Villanueva of San Luis, Mexico, Juana Villanueva of San Luis, Mexico, Veronica Villanueva of San Luis, Mexico, Amalia Flores of San Luis, Mexico and Maximina Villanueva of San Luis, Mexico; eight grandchildren Juan Villanueva, Euince Quiroz, Fernando Villanueva, Benny Villanueva, Giancarlo Villanueva, Cyndylon Hernandez, Ezro Mateo Villanueva and Yahir Villanueva; multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Perfecta Huerta and Camilo Villanueva; and three brothers Benigno, Damasio and Alfonsa Villanueva.
Viewing is from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until noon Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Juan A. Villanueva, Fernando Villanueva, Juan Villanueva, Fernando Villanueva, Juan Hernandez and Juan Quiroz.
Honorary pallbearers are Juan Hernandez, Juan Quiroz, Benny Villanueva and Giancarlo Villanueva.
