Jimmy Dale Pinkston, 62, of Shady Point passed away Jan. 11, 2025, in Poteau. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro with Pastor Jarad Graham and Pastor Duke Bennett officiating.
Burial will follow at Short Mountain Cemetery in Cowlington, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Bernice Elizabeth (Corzine) and Jesse Thomas Pinkston. He married Nikki Gregory July 30, 2016, in Cowlington. He worked for JRT Trucking and was a man of many talents and passions, including woodworking, golf, fishing, dirt track racing, and spending time in the great outdoors. Above all, Jimmy loved his family and cherished the moments he shared with them.
Jimmy’s memory will live on through his survivors his loving wife, Nikki Pinkston, of the home; his children Jerzee Lynn Pinkston of the home, Sheena Holscher and wife Sam of Dyer, Arkansas, James Pinkston and wife Sheri of Spiro and Jacob Pinkston of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren Trinity Rhodes, Jason Pinkston, Tristan Rhodes, Tucker Rhodes, and Sierra Pinkston; siblings Jennifer Fannin and husband Vincent, Terry Pinkston-Graham, Jesse Pinkston and wife Lou Anne, half-sisters Iris Pack and Liza Pinkston; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Jesse Pinkston.
Pallbearers are James Pinkston, Jacob Pinkston, Jesse Pinkston, Rob Hudson, Randy Barnes and Jim Hamlet. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Pinkston, Tristan Rhodes and Tucker Rhodes.
Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Viewing and visitation is from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday with the family visiting with friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
