Funeral services for Mary Allbritton, 84, of Spiro is 10 a.m. Thursday at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Spiro with Pastor Larry Allbritton, Shawn Thompson and Pastor Keith Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mary Jane Allbritton was born Feb. 8, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Nellie Irene (Schoeppey) Mathews and Eugene Mathews and passed away July 5, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Mary was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years, where she served as Mission Treasurer for 30 year and also served on the food committee. Mema loved to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren in the many sports they participated in. She loved to read, work puzzles and watch hummingbirds. Most of all she loved her family.

Survivors include her daughter Regina Thompson and husband Ronnie; son Larry Allbritton and wife Vicki; sisters Linda Dix and husband Joe, and Janice Waters and husband Eddie; grandchildren Cortney Reed and husband Anthony, Amber Featherstone and husband Barrett, Shawn Thompson, Shane Thompson and wife Amber; great grandchildren Lacey Bevil and husband Drew, Chase Reed, Kinley Didway, Kason Reed, Britton Featherstone, Gavin Thompson, Kambree Thompson, Christian Featherstone and Kayven Thompson; great great granddaughter Wren Bevil, and numerous other relatives, loved ones, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Gale Allbritton; brothers, Rex Mathews, Glen Mathews, Neal Mathews, and sister-in-law, Linda Mathews.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Shawn Thompson, Shane Thompson, Barrett Featherstone, Anthony Reed, Drew Bevil, and Tavian Seymour. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Reed, Kason Reed, Gavin Thompson and Christian Featherstone.
