Marvel “Mickey” Renick of Heavener was born Feb. 8, 1946 in Oakland, California to James Ira Tudor and Marvel Alliene Thompson/ Tudor and passed away Nov. 14, 2024 in Heavener, surrounded by her family, at the age of 78.
Memorial service will be held at the Poteau Church of Christ, the date to be determined at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of River Glen Cremation and Funeral Services of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Mickey was a long-time resident of the area. She spent many years working for Heavener Public Schools in the cafeteria, and was a member of the Poteau Church of Christ. She was an exceptional seamstress, an avid reader, and took pride in being a homemaker. Mickey loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Mickey was the most selfless wife, mother and grandmother. She had a kind, gentle, loving spirit that was recognized by every individual who met her. Mickey will be dearly missed by many who loved and knew her.
Surviving family members are her husband, Lonnie Renick, of Heavener; two daughters Jamie Olive and husband Timothy of Heavener, and Mari Lemke of Winona, Missouri; one son Kenny Renick and late wife Renae of Heavener; eight grandchildren Aaron Renick and Miranda Martin of Heavener, Bailey Burris and husband Andy of Poteau, Beau Olive and wife Abegail of Heavener, Blake Olive and fiance Hannah of Tontitown, Arkansas, Nicholas DeOrnelas of Merced, California, Rebecca Clayton and husband Zachery of Heavener, Sara Davies and Jeremy Benefield of Poteau, Sarah Dycus of Merced, California; 11 great-grandchildren Ali, Andi, Brason, Cage, Charlie, Daigen, Dash, Draven, Jackson, Legacie, Mila, and Nicholas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Ira Tudor and Marvel Alliene Thompson/ Tudor; two brothers James Tudor and Charlie Sexton; and one sister, Jeannie Sexton.
