Mildred Lavoy Richards, 94, of Pocola passed away Oct. 22, 2022.
Her funeral service Lavoy Richards is 11 a.m. Thursday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, with Brother Earnest Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
Surviving family members are her son Earl Richards and wife Anna Jean of Pocola; brothers Bill Freeman and wife Zada of Coweta, Wayne Dillon and wife Linda of Sallisaw; sisters Jolene Couch and husband Joe of Pocola Naomi Phillips of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Richards; parents Eual and Adella Dillon; daughter, Rhonda Cobb; and grandsons Chase Moreland and Shane Fiddelke.
Viewing and visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Shipman, Kevin Shipman, Galen Shipman, Robert Richards, Caleb Christianson, and Duane Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Fiddelke, Justin Christianson, Chris Christianson and David Freeman.
