Obituary for Randy Wickware

Randel “Randy” Lynn Wickware, 66, of Howe was born May 14, 1956 in Poteau to C.L. “Hossie” and Couline (Warford) Wickware and passed away Nov. 15, 2023 in Howe.

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Friday at the Hodgen First Baptist Church with Brother Larry Stacy and Brother John Paul McAlester officiating. Cremains will be buried at a later date in the Hodgen Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Randy was a longtime resident of the area and a 1974 graduate of Heavener High School.  He worked as a laborer on a chicken farm. Randy loved watching ball games, was an avid OU fan, and enjoyed picking pecans. He was a member of the Hodgen First Baptist Church. Randy was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Surviving family members are his mother, Couline Wickware, of Hodgen; one sister, Beverly Cox, of Howe; one nephew, Mark Couch, of Howe; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, C.L. “Hossie” Wickware.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated in Randy’s name to the Gideons International for bibles.

Burnett, H. Ray Eaton, John Mead, Steve Daniels, Stan Daniels and Cody Eaton.
