Obituary for Steven Burton
Steven Charles Burton of Shady Point was born Feb. 9, 1967 in Rochester, New York to Roger G. and Alice (Mahaffey) Burton and passed away April 26, 2024 in Poteau at the age of 57.
A family memorial service will be at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Steven was a long-time resident of the area and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Steven was a veteran, where he served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Burton.
Two sons Sebastian Vrontisis and Jacob Dickison.
Three grandchildren Damon Vrontisis, Robert Vrontisis and Jackson Dickison.
Other loved ones Verna Dickison, Aaron Dickison and family, and Earl Dickison and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Alice Burton.
