POTEAU – Funeral service for Thelma Mozelle Griffith, 82, of Poteau is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She was born Oct. 28, 1939 in Poteau to Eunice (Hancock) and Dewey Peters and passed away Sept. 23, 2022 in Poteau.
Survivors include son Michael and Julia Griffith; grandchildren Kimberly Cooper and husband Ryan, Nathan Griffith and wife Kristal, Jessica Griffith, Dustin Griffith, and Abby Griffith; great grandchildren Corbin Griffith, Cash Griffith, Bayker Lynn Griffith, Gunner Lynch, Kynlie Lynch, Alyssa Goodnight, Rylan Cooper, Alyah Cooper and Arianna Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Griffith; son, Ronald Griffith; brother, Odie Peters, Bill Peters; and a sister, Wilma Peters.
Visitation is Monday from 6-8 p.m.
