Timothy Jason Watts, 59, of Howe was born Dec. 2, 1965 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Garland and Linda (Hall) Watts and passed away Jan. 21, 2025 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Heavener with Brother Joe Haydon Hall and Brother Paul Puckett officiating. Burial will be in the Howe Cemetery, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Timothy was a longtime resident of the area, a maintenance mechanic at Mars Pet Care, and a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church. He also worked at Wortz Cracker Company for over 20 years and at the International Paper. Timothy loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors are his wife, Stephanie Watts, of the home; one daughter, Erin Watts, of Howe; one son, Derrek Williams of Poteau; one sister, April Terry, of Howe; two brothers Joey Watts and wife Rochelle of the Hontubby community, and Steve Watts and wife Ramona of Fanshawe; three grandchildren Sooner Williams, Jensen Shipman and Victoria Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Garland and Linda (Hall) Watts.
Pallbearers are Jon Watts, Fred Curd, Jake Watts, Joe Cruse, Gerald McCullah and Derrek Williams.
Viewing is from 1 until 7 p.m. Thursday. The family will visit with friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
