Pocola got a no-hitter from Allyssa Parker as the Lady Indians stayed undefeated with a 5-0 win over Crescent in the Class 2A state fast pitch softball Tournament Thursday.
The second-ranked Lady Indians, now 33-0, play third-ranked Latta, a 11-1 victor over Stroud in another first-round game Thursday, Friday at 2 p.m.
The Pocola and Latta winner plays the winner of Friday’s matchup between No. 1 Dale and Oktaha 5 p.m. Saturday for the state championship.
Dale downed Howe, 10-0, and Oktaha upset Preston, 2-0, in other first-round games Thursday.
