SPIRO—The Pocola boys and girls are the 2025 basketball LeFlore County Tournament champions for the second straight year, and third out of the past four.
Jordan Jackson hit a basket at the buzzer to give the Lady Indians a 55-52 win in the first championship game before Pocola’s boys ran past Panama in the late game, 69-41.
For the girls, Pocola’s Allyssa Parker scored a game-high 26 points to lead Pocola. Kaydence Delt led Howe with 20 points and Slatey Free added 19.
Houston Stroops and Dakotah Terrell both had 20 points to lead the Indians. Malachi Releford paced Panama with 10 points.
In the earlier third-place games, Panama’s girls defeated Talihina, 43-33, and Howe’s boys defeated Heavener, 60-47.
