Today’s photograph is of the 2008-2009 Heavener boys’ basketball team, the last boys’ team from Heavener to win the LeFlore County Tournament. Coached by Scott Gregory, Heavener was 21-8 that season, losing twice in the playoffs to Sequoyah-Tahlequah, including the area consolation championship.
