Service set for Patricia Benson
Funeral service for Patricia Lynn Benson, 63, of Heavener is 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Donald Benefield officiating.
Burial will follow at the Hontubby Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She was born Dec. 1, 1960 in Poteau to Altie (Woodral) Benson and Delmer Benson and passed away July 11, 2024 in Poteau.
Survivors include her sisters Virginia Hickman of Spiro, Peggy Terry an husband Billy Jack of Poteau, and Janis Tucker and husband Dewayne of Hackett, Arkansas; and brothers Bobby Benson of Heavener, and Kenneth Benson and wife Virginia “Ginner” of Pryor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Jesse Benson, Gene Benson, and Carolyn Evans and husband John.
Pallbearers are Dewayne Tucker, Norman Benson, Dalton Hickman, Doug Hickman, Jason Hickman and Tyler Hickman. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Shawn Terry, Tyrail Benson, Conner Bynum and Evan Dimitro.
Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
