Top-ranked Dale scored seven runs in the second inning en route to a 10-0 win over Howe in the opening round of the Class fast pitch softball state tournament Thursday.
Dale, now 40-1, takes on Oktaha at 4 p.m. Friday with the winner advancing to play the Pocola or Latta winna for the state championship Saturday.
Howe ends its season at 19-15 and ranked 12th.
