OKLAHOMA CITY – Top-ranked Washington defeated Howe, 13-0, in the Class 4A state slow pitch softball tournament Monday in a game that was delayed by weather from Wednesday.
The Lady Lions finished the season 13-18.
Washington, which improved to 38-2, opened with four runs in the first inning and Howe never recovered.
Howe got hits from Karsyn Nye, Maddi Nobles and Kenzie Davis.
