Top seeds advance in LCT
The top four seeds advanced to Tuesday’s winners bracket semifinals with wins Monday night.
Top-seeded Wister crushed Howe, 19-2, fourth-seeded Panama pounded Panama, 13-2, third-seeded Spiro edged Heavener, 6-4, and second-seeded Poteau got past Pocola, 11-2.
Winners bracket semifinals Tuesday have Wister playing Panama at Wister at 8:45 p.m. and Poteau and Spiro hooking up at Spiro in the 8:45 p.m. game.
In the first-round games, Heavener annihilated Arkoma, 21-2, Cameron bashed Bokoshe 21-2, Howe got past LeFlore, 11-3, Pocola blanked Whitesboro, 18-0.
As soon as locations are announced for Tuesday’s losers bracket games, they will be announced.
