Winter storm expected Tuesday
The National Weather Service has now issued a winter storm warning for eastern Oklahoma, including LeFlore County, and northwest Arkansas.
The warning is in effect from noon Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday. Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches across eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas and 5
to 10 inches across far northwest Arkansas.
Travel could be very difficult, especially in higher terrain. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.
