Heavener swept its Class 3A district tournament Friday with wins over Westville.
The Lady Wolves took the opener, 42-38, before the Wolves completed the sweep by beating the Yellow Jackets, 51-40, in the second game.
Heavener advances to play in the annual Roland regional tournament Thursday. Heavener will play the hosts in both contests with the girls playing at 6 p.m. with the boys to tip off around 7:30 p.m.

Girls
After dominating early, Heavener had to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Lady Jackets.
Cayleigh McGee hit a basket with 5:49 left to give Heavener the lead for good with Ava Cartwright adding another basket with 5-47 remaining. Westville stayed within striking distance until McGee hit a conventional 3-point play and Mariana Garcia nailed a pair of free throws with 38 seconds remaining for a 41-35 advantage.
After Westville hit a 3, Garcia made one of two free throws with 10 seconds remaining for the final score.
McGee led the Lady Wolves with 14 points and Cartwright added 13 as Heavener only made 13-26 free throws.
The Lady Wolves are 9-15 while Westville is 5-17.

Boys
Heavener jumped out to a 25-9 lead early in the game, then had to hold off Westville the remainder of the game.
In the fourth quarter, Heavener’s lead was cur to 39-34 before Chris Hetherington took the ball the length of the court to score a layup, was fouled and made the shot for a convention 3-point play and Isaac Cook followed with another layup to stretch the margin to 10.
Westville cut Heavener’s lead to six, before the Wolves closed out the contest on a 5-0 run.
Jackson Clubb led Heavener with 18 points, 13, coming in the first quarter and Hetherington added 10.
Heavener improves to 13-11 while Westville falls to 9-14. Both Westville teams have a bye Thursday and move into Friday’s consolation game against opponents to be determined.
