The Board of Trustees for the town of Howe will hold a regular meeting 5:30 p.m. Monday at Howe City Hall.

Here is the agenda:

  1. Call meeting to order.
  2. Roll call.
  3. Notice of posting of March 6, 2023 regular meeting.
  4. Approve minutes for Feb. 6 regular meeting and Feb. 9 special meeting.
  5. Fire Department report for February.
  6. Police Department report for February.
  7. Code enforcement report for February.
  8. Maintenance Department report for February.
  9. Old business.
  10. Discuss and possibly approve duct work bids for Paul Richardson Building.
  11. Business.
  12. Board member Darren Williams—discuss re-visit the motion made previously at the special meeting concerning the use of ARPA funds.
  13. Board member Darren Williams—discuss possible employee layoffs.
  14. Board member Darren Williams—discuss the possibility of annexing Ron’s Lumber & Home.
  15. Board member Darren Williams—discuss rule concerning board members missing three meetings and does that include special meetings.
  16. Discuss and possibly approve changing the day monthly regular meetings fall on.
  17. Discuss and possibly approve insurance renewals for 21781 West Main Street (city hall) and 39679 West Street (Paul Richardson Building) through Reed-Williams Insurance for a total of $4,291.94.
  18. Discuss and possibly approve insulation costs for Paul Richardson Building, up to $2,500.
  19. Discuss and possibly approve sheet rock material for Paul Richardson Building, up to $4,000.
  20. Discuss and approve treasure report and purchase orders for February, 2023.
  21. New business.
  22. Adjournment.
