Purcell advances past Poteau
SHAWNEE—Fifth-ranked Purcell downed sixth-ranked Poteau, 12-5, in the first round of the Class 4A state fast pitch tournament Thursday.
Manifold, Drury tie for Week 6 pick-em
Tyler Manifold and Tony Drury both went 10-2 and tied for the tiebreaker in the Week 6 pick-em. David Seeley also was 10-2, but missed the tiebreaker.
