Funeral services for Lizzie Elaine Washburn set

Funeral services for Lizzie Elaine Washburn of Wister are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with Reverend Lynn Bullard and son-in-law, Reverend Dale Lowrimore officiating.

Interment will follow in Heavener Memorial Park, under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Dates

She was born Sept. 12, 1948 in Heavener to James and Opal (Waymire) Ollar and passed away Dec. 31, 2022 in Wister.

Survivors

She is survived by three daughters Melissa Lowrimore and husband Dale of Panama, Sherri Washburn of Wister, and Kristi Lee and husband James of Heavener; four grandchildren Jessie Borden and husband Kolter of Panama, Jason Lowrimore and wife Melissa of Panama, Alston Washburn and wife Kaitlyn of Wister, and Allie Washburn and fiancé Chaz Calvillo of Panama; seven great-grandchildren Karlie Dickerson, Rylee Dickerson, Levi Lowrimore, Eli Lowrimore, Khyleigh Borden, Jeremiah Borden and Owen Calvillo; three brothers J.D. Ollar and wife Joan of Norman, M.C. Ollar and wife Sue of the Glendale community, and Cecil Ollar and wife Diana of the Glendale community; three sister-in-laws Francis Hill of Madison, Tennessee, Mary Alsup of Iowa Park, Texas, and Stella Campbell and husband Dennis of Iowa Park, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Preceded in death

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Alton Washburn, Jr.; her parents, James and Opal Ollar; and her in-laws, Alton, Sr. and LaVerne Washburn.

Bio

Elaine was a longtime resident of Wister and a 1966 graduate of Heavener High School. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, but due to health reasons has been unable to attend. She still watched Sunday morning services online. Elaine was a hairdresser for many years in Heavener. She also worked at Heavener and Wister Public Schools in the cafeteria as a cook, until she was unable to work due to health reasons. She was a true servant of our Lord and a mighty prayer warrior for many. She was a loving wife, mother, granny, and prayer warrior. Elaine will be deeply missed.

Pallbearers

Pallbearers are Alston Washburn, Chase Martin, Kolter Borden, David Ollar, Mike Ollar and Tony Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Justus Sisson, Chaz Calvillo, Jarrett Smith and Jason Lowrimore.

Viewing

Viewing is from noon until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday. The family will visit with family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
