Due to the continued rise in forecasted rain for Saturday, the Heavener VFW is canceling the Loyalty Day Parade in Poteau and Loyalty Day Hometown Patriotic Celebration scheduled for Saturday.
Heavy rain and classic cars don’t mix well, plus the VFW said they are concerned with the safety of the guests so the event is canceled.
