Dates

She was born July 18, 1949 in Howe to Claudie Washington and Barbara Jean (Deaton) Vickers and passed away Tuesday in Heavener.

Bio

She was a life-long resident of Heavener and a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church. Anna was an avid sports watcher. Her favorite teams were the Heavener Wolves, Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. She was a long-time videographer for the Heavener Wolves football team; and kept the scorebooks for the varsity basketball games. Anna was an educator and counselor for 46 years.

When she wasn’t watching any of her favorite sports, she was spending time with her family and beloved puppies. In the last few years of her life, she became a great-grandmother to Joshua and Alethea. They brought so much happiness and light to her life, and could brighten any rough day. There was nothing she loved more than being a Nana to Corry, and a Mema to Joshua and Alethea.
