Celebration of life for Ricky Robinson

Celebration of life for Ricky Robinson, 75, of Howe, is 10 a.m. Friday in Poteau with Reverend Keith Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.

Dates

He was born March 29, 1947 in Gore to Bill Brown and Jewel Robinson and passed away Monday in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Bio

Ricky was a long-time resident of the area and a retired drywall finisher in construction. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Ricky was a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors

Surviving family members are his wife, Wanda Robinson; two sons Ricky Robinson and Larry Robinson; two adopted children Stormy Jameson and Dawson Jameson; two sisters Doris Slavens and Linda Brown; three brothers James Brown and wife Bink, Jackie Brown and wife Trina, and Floyd Brown and wife Rosie; six grandchildren Michael Dunican, Mindy Dunican, Brylee Robinson, Bryce Robinson, Cody Robinson and Amanda Robinson; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends

Preceded by

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Dorothy Brown, and Norma Nuss and spouse Butch; three brothers Billy Rosson and spouse Doris, Eddie Brown and Freddie Brown, and a son, Brian Dunican.
