Today’s picture is of the Heavener boys’ basketball team from 1989-1990, the only Wolves’ boys team to make the state tournament. The Wolves lost to Hugo in the area championship game at Antler, came from behind the following night to defeat Atoka and qualify for the state tournament.
Heavener lost to Wagoner in the state tournament.
