LeFlore—Heavener’s girls scored nine times in the first inning en route to a 17-4 win at LeFlore Thursday afternoon.
Heavener is now 5-6 and is scheduled to host Eufaula Thursday.
The Lady Wolves added eight more runs in the third inning to end the game by run-rule.
Gracie Morrison was the winning pitcher for the Lady Wolves, going all three innings and allowing three hits and four runs, none earned, with five strikeouts and two walks.
At the plate, Ava Cartwright homered and was 2-3 with four RBI and a run scored, Mariana Garcia hit a triple and double while going 2-4 with five RBI and two runs, Cayleigh McGee doubled and finished 2-2 with three RBI and three runs scored and Britlee Reed doubled and finished 1-1 with two runs scored.
