Early voting starts Feb. 8
Early voting for the Feb. 13 elections for the board of education, primary school and special elections in LeFlore County starts Feb. 8.
LeFlore County election board secretary, Sharon Steele, said early voting is open to all voters.
Early voting is available Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the county election board at 103 North Church Street in Poteau. Steele said early voting is not available at polling locations.

Panama sweeps Gore
PANAMA–Panama swept a pair of high school games from Gore Saturday night.
The Lady Backs opened with a dominating, 64-23 win before Panama completed the sweep as the Razorbacks edged Gore, 62-56. Panama hosts LeFlore Friday
Girls
Panama jumped ahead 47-13 at the half and breezed to the blowout win over the Lady Pirates.
The Lady Backs improve to 12-7 while Gore is 4-15. Panama was led by Kylee Gollihare’s 16 points.
