Fort Towson man convicted of murder
MUSKOGEE – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Thomas Raymond Phillips III, 36, of Fort Towson was found guilty by a federal jury of one count of first-degree murder in Indian Country, one count of use, carry, brandish and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and one count of causing the death of a person in the course of a violation of title 18 U.S.C. § 924(c). Spiro man guilty of child sexual exploitation material
MUSKOGEE – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Joe Weldon Taylor, III, age 44, of Spiro, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Possession of Certain Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
