Lute heads up girls’ all-tournament team
Howe’s Gracie Lute was named the most valuable player for the girls in the 2023 LeFlore County Tournament after leading the Lady Lions to the championship Saturday evening in Spiro.
Teammate Journey Williams was named the Dennis Hemphill hustle award winner, receiving a $500 scholarship.
Spiro won the sportsmanship award.

Other team members were Ashlynn Dalton, also of Howe; Piper Warren and River Cogburn of LeFlore; Madison Grogan and Addison Walker of Whitesboro; Kylee Smith and Allyssa Parker of Pocola; Brooklyn Garner of Poteau; Lynsey Wortham of Spiro; and Sky Bluford of Panama.
