A winter storm watch has already been issued for LeFlore County from noon Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday with heavy snow possible, with accumulations of 3-5 inches a possibility.
The high will be 50 degrees with a low of 28.
Sunrise is 7:23 a.m. Sunset is 5:38 p.m.
Average temperatures for Jan. 23 are a high of 53 and low of 27.
Records for the date were a high of 69 in 1993 and a record low of 15 in 1988.
Sunday’s high was 41 with a low of 26.

Heavener academic team wins first
Heavener’s fifth and sixth grade academic team got first place in the OJABA regional academic meet Saturday to qualify for the state meet.
Teams attending were Hodgen, Central A and B, Cameron, Brushy, Panama and Bokoshe.
