Graveside service for Willie Leon Ricks, Sr., 74 of Pocola is 11 a.m. Thursday at United States National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
He was born June 23, 1948 in Sebastian County, Arkansas (Fort Smith), to the late Maurice Ricks and the late Cozetta Franklin and passed away June 17, 2023.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving family members are his wife, Virgal Ann; one daughter, Kimberly; three sons Willie Jr., Brian and William, along with their loving families; two sisters Natha Lee and Cynthia; and two brothers Maurice and Lee Alfred.
He was preceded in death by Norman and Jacqueline.
