Howe Junior High student Lexi Burnett won the National Championship in the National Student Air Rifle (S.A.R.) meet in St. Louis Missouri.
Shei competes on the Howe Lions Student Air Rifle Junior High team and the Howe Lions Junior High Archery team. Howe started the S.A.R. program this year and is one of only eight schools in Oklahoma certified to compete in the S.A.R. program. Some of the states that Oklahoma has joined with in the program include Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri and Kentucky.
