SALLISAW—Poteau held on late to take a pair of basketball games from Sallisaw Tuesday night.
The Lady Pirates trailed 27-23 with 5:44 left to play and eSnded the game with a 13-6 run and going on to take the 36-33 win before the Pirates finished up the sweep with a 44-36 victory.
Poteau’s girls are 6-6 and the Pirates improve to 6-6. Poteau hosts Muldrow Saturday.
