LeFlore County’s unemployment rate went up slightly from 4.1 percent to 4.3 percent in the latest report from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission for September.
LeFlore County had a total of 20,311 people in its labor force with 19,447 employed and 864 out of work.
The county has been on a slow climb with rates at 4.1 percent in July and 4.2 percent in July In September of last year, the percentage rate was 3.7 percent.
